AFAC has selected QLM Media’s La Mémoire de la Forêt for its 2026 Ecologies of Culture / Creative Caravans programme.
Forests through science, culture and society
Working with visual artist Hela Lamine, QLM is developing three short digital documentaries about northwestern Tunisia’s forests. The project brings scientific, cultural and social perspectives to their changing landscapes, overlooked knowledge and connections with forests elsewhere in the Mediterranean.
Making the world more understandable
The project extends QLM’s editorial approach: making complex subjects accessible without losing their depth. Documentary storytelling brings research and visual expression together to offer fresh perspectives on our environment.
